Subject: Ed Gardner on ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE
No, Ed Gardner was NOT involved with ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE Show. If you point
out an episode that has the voice you are referring to, I can tell you who
did the voice, since the lineup of voice actors was small for the series. As
a fan of the series, I can identify almost every voice on the series within
seconds. On an educated guess off the top of my head, it was probably Paul
Frees, who did fifty percent of all the voices on the series. The entire
series is now available on DVD in a big box set and I recommend it for those
who love OTR. There are radio references about Mr. Keen and others, besides
actors Walter Tetley (from THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE) playing Sherman. And there
are so many one-liners it's hilarious (and the show got better with each
season. Even the final season was spectacular). My favorite is from the first
season when Boris convinced Rocky to sell him the Mooseberry Bush for three
dollars.
"Hey! Wait a second," Rocky remarked. "I've never seen a three-dollar bill
before."
"Can I help it if you're poor?" Boris replied.

The term "All Star Cast" is often used, but I don't think any more accurately
than for the CBS Radio Workshop episode Son of Man.
Introduced by Raymond Burr, read by Robert Young,Victor Jory, Herbert Marshall
and Vincent Price, music by [removed] Bach and program arranged by Archibald
MacLeish.
Not to mention the subject of the story.
I found it on the Internet Archive, CBS Radio Workshop 04/21/1957.
Happy Easter and Passover to all,
Dick Backus

I checked wikipedia, and found out that the cereal called Cheery Oats
began in 1941.
In 1946, there was a dispute regarding the products name, which lead to a
lawsuit by the
Quaker Oats company. The Quaker company won the lawsuit, and the folks at
General
Mills renamed their product Cheerios.
The product has been popular ever since and is still going strong.
There's probably more information out there, which you can find
through Google.
Just a suggestion.
