"Just The Way You Look Tonight" was also the theme music for MR. & MRS.
NORTH when the program aired on NBC for Woodbury's Facial Soap during the
early-mid 1940's.

Found a photo of writer Phil Leslie (left) with Marian and Jim Jordan. Can
anyone identify the man who is sitting between Marian and Jim?
Thanks in advance.

Speaking whereof -- can you explain the sudden
dearth -- nay, complete and total ABSENCE --
of Warner Brothers cartoons on [removed] lately? I
haven't seen a Bugs Bunny cartoon in AGES!!!
I believe they got shifted over from the Cartoon Network to Boomerang. I
don't know if CN still does its annual "June Bugs" marathon or not, but they
did
one for years even after they stopped carrying Bugs on a regular basis. Of
course Boomerang isn't on as many cable lineups [removed] Bugs.
On the other hand, there are a number of beautifully-done Looney Toons DVDs
out now, chock full of cartoons and special features like the "Bugs
Bunny/Roadrunner Show" opens.

Let's carry the Sniffles thread a bit further. Wasn't Sniffles also featured
in a comic book series? Seems to me I recall having several of them as a
kid. If is fact this is true, does anyone remember the incantation that was
used to make a child the same size as Sniffles? It's odd how after all these
years, certain things are still just as plain as they were then. I recall it
exactly.

Warner Bros. is currently in the process of releasing its entire Looney
Tunes/Merrie Melodies output onto DVD. I believe some of the Sniffles
cartoons are on at least one of the sets. I have seen them recently.
If they're not yet on the DVDs, then I saw them on the Boomerang cable TV
channel, so keep an eye out!

There's also a rather amazing--fantastic art!--series of Sniffles
stories in one, or more, of the long running Warner Brothers cartoons
comic-book ties ins, from the '40s and '50s. If I recall correctly, in
the comics, Sniffles was usually teamed with a young gal.
