Subject: ELAINE HYMAN

My memory is not good but I seem to recall that I performed with Elaine
when we were doing the FOTR in Newark some years ago.
Don't recall the show.
I think Gregg Oppenheimer and I had dinner or after show drinks with
the ladies and I recall a slim and lovely lady with a great smile and a way
with words.

Tell me more so I can jog this old brain which contains a plethora of fine
times as regards radio.
IMDB needs to be updated as she has become an intriguing mystery where I
recall a wonderful and thoughtful woman with a big appetite for the evening
story-telling sessions at the hotel bar after the show.
Perhaps Gregg can be of assistance.
Keep me informed please.
Miss you all,
Michael C. Gwynne

[ADMINISTRIVIA: I posted a few photos of Ms. Hyman from the Friends of
Old-Time Radio Convention to the Nostalgic Rumblings blog at

talking about. --cfs3]

Elaine Hyman was a frequent guest at the annual FRIENDS OF OLD-TIME RADIO
conventions, and voice the female leads in both of the GUNSMOKE recreations I
directed, including the one at the final FOTR convention in October of 2011.

Subject: Lum & Abner Question

In July of 1945 Lum and Abner close the store and go on vacation for 6
weeks. The replacement show was called "Pick and Peck" (I think). Was
wondering if anyone knows do these shows still exist?

Marty
