'Happy Birthday' Settlement Arrives in Lawsuit Aiming to Free Song From Copyright
By Eriq Gardner
The parties involved in a huge legal fight over the English language's
most popular song, "Happy Birthday to You," have arrived at a settlement.
A judge's order released on Wednesday revealed the deal and vacated a
trial that was set to begin on December 15. According to a source, once
the settlement is finalized, "Happy Birthday" will be in the public
domain beyond dispute.

Hi and Happy New Year! B B I had a busy December, so this is a bit late. B I
finished a long article on the 90th anniversary of Los Angeles radio station
KFWB. B B Its main focus is on the "lost history" of the years when the
Warner Brothers movie studio owned the radio station in Hollywood, from 1925
to 1950. B If anyone is interested in reading this story on early radio
history and a bit of movie history, here is the link. B B Thanks for your
time.

11 the station manager has decided that the midnight to 3 am slot
Monday through Thursdays currently held by the ever popular Roy of
Hollywood will be taken over by young programmers who will be playing
hip hop music and other things aimed at a young audience. For our final
show we will be playing final shows from OTR series GUNSMOKE, SUSPENSE,
ROCKY FORTUNE, FRED ALLEN and YOURS TRULY JOHNNY DOLLAR. Tune in and
bid us goodbye. It also streams at [removed]
