Joe Salerno muses about other radio programs that Brace Beemer
appeared on, either as himself and/or the Ranger.

I have a 15 minute Bill Stern Colgate Sports show in which Beemer is
the guest star; it is undated but probably in the mid-40s.

Joe wondered whether Brace Beemer/Lone Ranger made appearances on other
radio shows. This is only a vague recollection, but I believe he did. I
think it was part of some kind of celebration in a western state. I recall
hearing it, but on checking my catalog, I do not see it. Maybe someone
else's memory is better than mine.

Indeed, Brace Beemer did appear as the Lone Ranger on several other radio
shows.
In fact, just the other night I was listening to a Bing Crosby episode and
guess who his guest was---none other than the masked-man. It was a very
funny segment set in the old west with Bing being a side-kick to the LR, and
doing a spoof of Hopalong Cassidy.
Beemer was also a guest on Bill Stern's Colgate Sports newsreel show. I
believe he was also a guest on Duffy's Tavern. A few years following the LR's
departure from network radio, Brace was a guest on JP McCarthy's
morning-drive radio show in Detroit.

Joe Salerno asked if Brace Beemer ever appeared as a guest on a radio show
as the Lone Ranger (or the man who played him). I am aware of two such
instances, and perhaps others know of more. He appeared on "Duffy's Tavern"
with Ed Gardner sometime in the early forties, and also with Bing Crosby on
the "Kraft Music Hall", each time playing the Ranger. Unfortunately, there
doesn't seem to be a recording of the first appearance, but there are plenty
of copies of the Crosby show in circulation.

Joe, although the broadcast does not exist, Brace Beemer as the Lone
Ranger appeared on an episode of "Duffy's Tavern".
