Hi,
Mitch Miller also had a short-lived radio show in 1961.
He did an interview show at Sardi's East in New York.
I don't know how many exist, but John and I have two. We have his
last show, plus one with Johnathan Winters.
We'll be playing this later show on our Same Time Same Station
program beginning this Sunday.
we'll also feature some Superman programs plus an interview we did
with Michael Hayde about his relatively new book.
It was newer when we did the interview back in May.

Subject: Mitch Miller on CBS Radio?
X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/alternative
X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: Alternative section used was text/plain
During the late fifties and very early sixties there was a weekly one hour
talk show on CBS Radio which may have been hosted by Mitch Miller. The show
was heard on Sunday nights around eight or nine. I believe that it moved
to Saturday night in 1960 where it was heard for a year or so.
The program originated from a hotel but I can't remember the name of the
place or, for that matter, what city it was in. I do remember that as an
adolescent I found the show to be boring and rarely listened for more than a
few minutes.
I can't remember the name of the show but I do believe that Mitch Miller wa
s the host. As everyone has no doubt surmised, my memories of this program
are very vague. I could be wrong about Mr. Miller being the host.
