In Issue #131, Harlan Zinck asked
I wonder if the disc labels were
the same for Australia as for the U. S. -- and, also, who did the
disc?pressings for overseas distribution.
I wonder also. I will be attending a Radio Convention in Canberra mid
September and was going to spend some time at the NLA regarding other
projects, so I will take the time to to find out. I have also been asked
about the barcode appearing on the reverse of the Songbook. I am assuming it
is in a plastic sleeve and the barcode is on the sleeve for identification
purposes, but it doesn't match the identification number used on the website,
so a little side mystery there.
Because Cinnamon Bear was a [removed] series, Moris and I hadn't been documenting
it for the Encyclopaedia, as we search the program guides. I myself had never
seen it listed anywhere, but we are going to keep an eye out for any listings
when we are working in that time period in future. If it was on 4BC Brisbane,
it may have been on other stations in Sydney and Melbourne.
