For the Lux program 45-06-18 The Canterville Ghost, there are 2 different
shows circulating, one labeled broadcast and one labeled rehearsal. Both are
about the same length, under an hour and both have audiences. The show labeled
broadcast is hosted by Hal Wallis. The show labeled rehearsal is hosted by
Hunt Stromberg. I have not found any reference to Stromberg hosting the
rehearsal other than the recording. Of course, not every rehearsal host or
star makes it to the show, but does anyone have any details confirming that
the shows are labeled correctly and Stromberg was replaced by Wallis for the
actual broadcast?
