If anyone wants these shows. I have some spare terabytes on my mediafire
account and I love Fibber and Molly so here you go.
The Fibber season is the one where Molly comes back and the first of
Gildersleeve's two seasons.

Greetings,
Happy Chanukah to those who celebrate the holiday. I decided to celebrate it
this year by writing a little ebook called "The Burns and Allen Chanukah
Special," which some of you may enjoy. It's available on Amazon. Since it's
Freeman Gosden's birthday this week, permit me to also mention "Writing For
Amos n' Andy and Duffy's Tavern," one of a series of ebooks excerpted from my
book "The Laugh Crafters: Comedy Writing in Radio and TV's Golden Age."
best,
Jordan Young

I'm sure everyone's noticed that pc-burned audio CDs generally
go bad very quickly
Hi Travis,
Actually I've had exceptionally good luck with audio CD's. The secret (just
like with reel-to-reels) is to use good-quality media. I've been using the
Taiyo-Yuden/JVC blanks for more than a decade and have never had any problems
with media decay. Before using that brando I used a couple of other
high-quality brands and, again, to this day, never had one go bad. And that
includes anything I've done since 1998! That said, I did have a problem with
one CD that was accidentally scratched when taking it out of a CD player. The
center hub caught part of the disc and scratched the surface, making it
unreadable. Fortunately I also keep hard drive backups (2 separate ones) of
my files (uncompressed AIFF's) in case I run into problems. And I also store
one of those backups [removed] in case. Keep in mind that a hard drive
should be replaced every 5-7 [removed] means that an entire audio
collection should be backed up and rotated to new source media every so
often.
Again, the secret with any type of audio is to maintain it on top-quality
media.
Karl Pearson
