Subject: Women in Radio - Thanks

Thanks to everyone who answered my request regarding which women to
include in my presentation. The museum currently has a special exhibit
on women and my presentation was a short one to go along with the
performance of a scene by local high school students of the play they
are currently doing.

Senior High stages 'The 1943 Radio Hour'

[removed]
ages-the-radio-[removed]

My presentation went very well, in fact, so well that they are having me
back next week to do a more extended one on their regular High Noon
Lectures Series. This one, about 40 minutes, will be video taped and
played on our local community access television station. I will be
emphasizing how one can study history through the radio broadcasts of
the times and how I have used "found sounds" to learn about our own
community.

Again, thanks for the help.
