I checked several Sullivan biographies, and Ed Sullivan did not have a
sports radio show.

I stand corrected. I got my info from a Jack Benny interview several years
before Jack passed away. He could have mis-remembered. Or maybe it was me.

I have one recording of an Ed Sullivan program.
It is the program of 5/23/1944. 15 mins. Haven't
played it for years, but I recall it being a general
news show, with some emphasis on entertainment
and "stars." If anyone wants a copy, let me know.
