I want to extend a thank you to all of those who answered my query about the
percentage of households with radios in 1938. As has been shown, I was
probably off by a decade. I do find it rather incredible the nearly
exponential rise in the percentage of households with radios especially at a
time of some economic hardship especially after 1929. I wonder if anyone has
information on how much a radio cost on average in total cost or vs. average
annual income from the years 1920 to 1950? Thanks to all.
